Southern Wasco County Library Services

Collection

The library has a large collection of fiction, non-fiction, DVDs, audiobooks, and more. The library has free public wi-fi in addition to wi-fi hotspots that can be checked out by patrons. Storytime

The library hosts a weekly storytime every Friday at 10 a.m. Children of all ages are encouraged to attend the program. We’ll read books, sing songs, and have complete access to the library to play and check out books without the expectation of quiet.

Outreach

The library’s mission includes outreach to groups that may not have access to the library. The library partners with the South Wasco County School District for a Youth Advisory council. We work with Canyon Rim Assisted Living Center and Mid Columbia Children’s Council in Tygh Valley. The library maintains several Little Free Libraries throughout the service area.
