The LINK Public Transit & South County Shuttle

The LINK public transit is available for anyone and everyone! Schedule a ride to work, school, appointments, shopping, entertainment, or other activities. The LINK operates lift-equipped buses to serve customers who require the use of a wheelchair, or have difficulty negotiating steps.

South County Shuttle

The South County Shuttle runs every Tuesday. The LINK stops at the places noted below in each community and also offers door-to-door service for riders that live close within the communities of Maupin, Tygh Valley and Dufur. Riders must call in advance (541-296-7595) to schedule door-to-door service.

Tuesday Schedule:
Pick up at Maupin Market at 8 a.m.
Pick up at Maupin Country Store at 8:01 a.m.
Pick up at Canyon Rim Senior Living at 8:05 a.m.
Pick up at Wamic Market & Supply at 8:40 a.m.
Pick up at Wamic Boat Ramp at 8:50 a.m.
Pick up at Tygh Valley General Store around 9:15 a.m.
Pick up at WE 3 Coffee and Deli in Dufur at 9:45 a.m.
The bus arrives in The Dalles around 10:30 a.m. Drivers will take riders to their destination. The return shuttle leaves The Dalles at 2:00 p.m.

Cost: The cost to ride is $5 roundtrip from Maupin, Wamic, Pine Hollow, Tygh Valley and $3 roundtrip from Dufur.
